Hello. My name is Tundrafrost, but you can call me Tundra. I have a life-long love for cats, rodents, and books. I like to take myself seriously, but you don't have to. I like to get along with people, and repay kindness in kind. I can also be a bit old-fashioned and wax poetic on a number of things. But that's okay, because in the immortal words of Huey Lewis, "It's hip to be square". I spend my spare time either on the internet, reading, writing, drawing, working on my comic, or bottle-feeding kittens. I'm a modest individual with elitist tendencies, a vegetarian, and an insufferable corrector of other people's common mistakes. Social skills, I know not your many names.
Since everybody else put this, I have three cats, Sevin (4), Nue-Nues (9), and Rucks (2), and a chinchilla, Tisa (2). With all my fostering and what-not, I hate to say but in the past I have had over 43 cats that have lived in my house at one point or another, ten fish, six hamsters, six mice, two chinchillas, four gerbils, a rat, and one dog.

Nice to meet you, Tundra! We have a lot of the same interests, if you don't mind me pointing that out. And you're working on a comic, you say? What kind, if I may ask? I could never in a million years write for or draw a comic; it's too difficult a medium for me. >: Like, I can't map it out right in a way that works. Plus, it's repetitive drawing....

It's nice to meet you too! It's kind of an improvisational piece, about a regular cat who comes across a scarf that gives him super-powers. I have problems mapping things out too, because I try to get too involved and the plot becomes to convoluted and hard to translate into the medium. I suggest working with general ideas of what you want to happen, and not worrying about what happens in-between, just going with what feels right. That's what I've been doing for this one, and it's the most stress-free comic I've ever done. I used to problems with the repetitive drawing as well, but it gets easier with practice, though I will admit, backgrounds are a right pain. It's also a lot easier to draw a character over and over again if they have a fairly simple design. I've seen some of your work, and I am a fan. I will admit that I've always kind of hoped you'd do a comic one day. The art would be fantastic.

That's really interesting! And I see what you mean about all of that. I suppose that stressing on it too much would make it more hard than it has to be, and I definitely know what you're talking about with the character designs and the backgrounds! That always would hold me up whenever I tried because the backgrounds would just kill me. But yes, definitely simple designs. That's very smart. Thanks for the advice.
And thank you for the compliment, too! That means a lot. I've considered maybe doing something comic-wise, but I need to figure out a story and develop my abilities first, I think. I might have to try what you're trying, doing an improv style.
