...and spelt sorta differently i guess.
Figured I’d stop by this lovely board and introduce myself. I go by too many different names on the interwebs to give them all here but I’m most commonly known by Jinx, Lyre or Aaronoid.
I’m the only one of my friends who’s a cat person. Although I like dogs and find them lovely creatures (particularly the fluffy kind) will always favor cats. When I was young, we grew up with plenty of pets, but as we grew older they died or were given away. I’ve had several cats over my 16 years, buckets of birds, fountains of fish, two hamsters, a guinea pig, a parrot (who unlocked his own cage and flew away the clever featherball) and turtles. Now, I live with a Siamese named SimSim (which is Arabic for Sesame). I also own a German Toy Spitz called Kitsune and a salamander I’ve named Billabong.
I’m 16, right handed and always wear a wrist watch. My favourite colour fluctuates with my mood. I speak fluent English and Arabic and am currently learning Spanish as a second language at my high school. I don’t know why I bother since I have an extreme disability when learning new languages. I studied French for 9 years and basicly know ‘Bonjour’ ‘Oui’ and ‘Je ne parle pas Francais’. Time well spent I think not. -.-
I’m a huge fan of Pokemon and South Park and watched every Family Guy episode several times. I don’t watch TV much and get my news and fill of entertainment from the internet. I tend to overread a single book rather than read new ones which is why i'm pretty stuck to Warriors as well as Harry Potter and the Hunger Games.
I could go on but I’d much rather learn about all of you instead. I look forward to getting to know you all and roleplaying with you. Smiley face - heart
Oh and you might have noticed by my spelling that i'm British and i refuse to spell 'colour' as 'color'. ;D

Hey, Aaronoid! Nice to meet you. c:
I like to think that I'm both a cat and dog person, but I'll always definitely have a bias for cats. You've had a lot of pets, though, it seems! I've had a bird once... and three hamsters, six cats, about eight fish. Your pets sound really cool, and I love the name SimSim for your cat!
We're the same age, by the way. :3 That makes me happy.
Pokémon and Family Guy are amazing, of course. Nothing better. <3

If you could see me now..My face is like this: and I'm doing my best to latch onto the screen..which i can't. Trust me, I've tried.
It hasn't gone well.
I have my own introduction board thing, if you feel the need to get to know this excessive rambler, but I'm just going to say I now adore you. One, your british...which...is just awesome. And two...The Hunger Games. My three favorite words at this very moment. -points dramatically to little profile avatar- Though I'm darn close to being considered obsessive. My friend and i have deduced that Suzanne Collins has a bread fetish, if you're ever interested in hearing that theory...
It makes sense, I swear.

Hi'ya Aaronoid. Welcome!
Well, I only have three...ok, maybe four things to say. One: I absolutely love Harry Potter! I'm stuck on the series and movies. xD Two: I've read every Warriors book as of yet, except the very very first one. >W< Three: The Hunger Games; my series as of yet. I absolutely love it! And Four: You're British; and I've always wanted to go to England. Haha.
Anyways, glad to meet ya! ;3

Nice to meet a fellow Brit! I'd have to say from reading your introduction that I think we will get along well, you and I, as I too refuse to use any but the Queen's English. I've studied French too, but only know a little bit more than you do (and that's only because one of my friends keeps speaking to me in it). So, Bonjour! I just have to ask, reading over your book list, have you ever tried reading the Redwall series? Or Watership Down? I'm just curious, because I know a lot of people who've read Warriors and also love those books.

*is overwhelmed by responses* O.O Wow, I wasn’t really expecting anyone to reply. Also, this is the second time I write this because the internet erased the first attempt. It’s probably for the best, it was more long and rambly the first time.
Fahrenheit: I’m very proud of my experience of pets =D My mom loves animals so when I was little she always made sure we had plenty of pets. My dad used to call our house a zoo! Being 16 is awesome *fistbump* I wish I lived in Canada though so I could drive, I have cousins there my age who are driving *humph* I’ve loved pokemon since I was tiny it’s the best! And I only really got into Family Guy this year but I’m so into it right now By the way, -random note- I love how you draw cats and I’ve been stalking watching you on dev art and that’s how I found this site
Hedgiefish: Haha, The Hunger Games is the best thing ever! It’s been mental. I read the book earlier this year in a week (I paced myself cause I didn’t want it to end), then forced my friend to read it, she fell in love with it and downloaded Catching Fire and Mockingjay on her Kindle and we spent every break and recess in school for the rest of the year huddled down reading those books. We would even meet up on weekenders just to read them. I even spent one entire Geography lesson reading Mockingjay under the table. And it was your avatar which made me think to mention The Hunger Games by the way. I saw it and thought: YESH ANOTHER HUNGER GAMES FAN. AND I LOVE THAT QUOTE. So as you can see I’m very much in love with The Hunger Games too. Also, I’m intrigued by this bread fetish theory o.O I need to hear it sometime.
Wolfie: 1.Harry Potter is awesome! I just watched the final movie and it was so depressing but amazing at the same time! 2. How have you read every book but not the very first? I mean-wha? XD And I’ve read all except the most recent two of the most recent series so no spoilers please~ =D 3. If you’ve read the above paragraph you’ll know that I absolutely adore THG <3 4. I’d like to go too I don’t live there permanently you see. I’ve been living in Greece most of my life. I go for holidays though Lovely to meet you <3
Tundrafrost: Nice to meet you too! And I have a friend who’s taken French for a little longer than me and is practically fluent because she lived in Canada and she used to speak it on a daily basis. I guess it’s the effort put into a language that makes it sink in but I honestly hate it so much now I could never go back to studying it. I actually have read both Watership Down and a book from the redwall series. I read Watership Down when I was 11 and I cried when the book ended. My mom asked me why I was crying and I replied because it was over. She never quite understood that. I haven’t read it since but I recently have been wanting to go check it out from my library and read it again. I also read Triss from the Redwall series and loved it (it’s one of my favourite books) but when I went to read the rest of the series, for some reason I never caught on and liked it even though I loved Triss and have read it several times. It’s a puzzle :/
Evening: OMG I KNOW RIGHT *throws arms in the air* GAH, ITS SO AWESOME.
